Horizons was set up in 1997 as a Registered Training Organisation
(RTO), however now specialises in the following services:

and groupwork

In the area of Traumatic Stress
& Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
Broadening
Horizons provides a number of specialist courses so as to offer you the
variety of Training courses and
services that is provided today. The Executive Director is Ms Francess Day.
In 1996,
Francess Day began organising and facilitating Perth's first Community
Based Support Groups for people recovering from Critical & Post
Traumatic Stress. In 1997, she was asked to set up the training
company, to train security personnel for whom she was providing
training in managing violence/conflict.
Broadening Horizons also has
published two books - "Putting together the
pieces; recovering and rebuilding life after trauma" and "Put together your own life: recovering and
rebuilding life after trauma".
Relationship and Family Counselling
In 2005
Francess completed the formal training in Imago Relationship Therapy
and continues to offer this coaching ' under supervision' to all
couples and other family members wishing to enhance their communication
and understanding of each other. This process teaches you the skills to
resolve conflict, improve intimacy and enhance fulfillment in all your
relationships.
